Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Barefoot Junkie, our goal is for you to love every purchase. But if something isn’t quite right, we’ve got your back with a hassle-free and flexible returns process.


Returns Eligibility

  • Standard Returns Window: You can return or exchange any item within 45 days of receiving your order, provided it's in saleable condition (see below).

  • Faulty Items:

    • Within 6 months: Eligible for a refund, exchange, or store credit equal to the full value of your item.

    • Between 6 months and 12 months: Eligible for an exchange or store credit (no refunds after 6 months).


🚚 Free Returns & Exchanges

We cover the cost of all return shipping for both refunds and exchanges – even if you’ve simply changed your mind. It’s part of the Barefoot Junkie service promise.


🔁 Instant Exchanges

To help you get the right size or style faster, we offer instant exchanges:

  • As soon as your return is marked in transit, we’ll dispatch your new item – no waiting, no fuss.


🧾 How to Return an Item

  1. Go to our [Returns Portal]

  2. Enter your email address and order number

  3. Select the item(s) you’d like to return

  4. Choose your reason:

    • Doesn’t fit

    • Changed mind

    • Faulty or damaged

  5. Select your preferred resolution:

    • Exchange for a different size or item

    • Refund

    • Store credit (with a 10% bonus!)


💳 Refunds & Store Credit

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method

  • Prefer store credit? We’ll add 10% extra to help with your next purchase


🔄 Exchanges

You can exchange for any item, regardless of price:

  • If the new item is more expensive, you’ll pay the difference

  • If the new item is cheaper, you can choose a partial refund or store credit


📦 Return Options

We offer three convenient, trackable return methods:

  1. Royal Mail Tracked – Printer Required

  2. Royal Mail Tracked – No Printer Needed (QR code sent to your phone)

  3. InPost Lockers – No Printer Required


📦 Saleable Condition Requirements

Returned items must be:

  • Unworn and undamaged (indoor try-ons only)

  • With original tags (attached or in the box)

  • In the original shoebox, undamaged and not defaced

    • The shoebox must be wrapped or bagged with no tape, labels, or writing directly on it

⚠️ Items returned in poor condition may be refused and returned to you.


🛠️ Faulty Item Returns

If your item develops a fault:

  • Log the issue via our Returns Portal and upload a photo

  • Choose a return method once approved

Faulty item resolutions:

  • Day 45 – Day 182: Refund, exchange, or store credit

  • Day 182 – Day 365: Exchange or store credit

  • For faults after 45 days, please email sales@barefootjunkie.com before entering the portal so we can assist
