The National Running Show doors opened its doors once again this weekend (20th/21st Jan 2024) for its biggest and most comprehensive show yet. The excitement that filled the air was simply palpable. As the doors swung open, we couldn't help but be overwhelmed with gratitude, knowing we were above to receive the warn welcome that has become a hallmark of every NRS event since its inception. Rest assured, our expectations were not only met but exceeded!

At Barefoot Junkie, our strong connection and excellent rapport with Vibram UK have always been a source of pride. Once again, we were honored to be invited to play a part in presenting this incredible brand to the running show customers.

Over the span of two exhilarating days, we had the incredible pleasure of meeting many of you, our beloved Barefoot Junkie Tribe enthusiasts. It was heartwarming to witness so many of you proudly sporting your FiveFingers, and in some instances, even helping us convert newcomers to these exceptional shoes. For me personally, Barefoot Junkie is more than just a business; it's my way of giving something back to the world. My journey, much like yours, began with my first pair of minimalist shoes, and I was so inspired by them that when the opportunity arose to acquire Barefoot Junkie, I leaped at the chance. The rest, as they say, is history. It was also a pleasure to connect with fellow FiveFinger enthusiasts representing their own running and fitness brands. Keep an eye out for upcoming recommendations and discount links as we look to collaborate and spread the love.

As always, this show provided us with the perfect platform to challenge preconceived notions, ignite curiosity, and proudly present minimalist shoes as a credible and thrilling option. The surge in minimalist footwear enthusiasts was undeniable, with countless individuals confidently exploring a diverse array of brands. The future of minimalist footwear looks brighter than ever, as more and more people recognize the value of being closer to the ground and ditching cushioned, ill-fitting shoes.

This year's NRS show was nothing short of a resounding success, and we are immensely thankful for the enthusiastic reception from the running community.
